Car Use:
We have available a 7-seater people carrier at the villa. It is an automatic, has 4-wheel drive, air conditioning and is very easy to drive and manoeuvre. It takes 4 star unleaded and is very economical.
The cost for hire is £125 per week. This includes fully comprehensive insurance for a single named driver, who must be over the age of 25 and driving for at least one year. Damage excess is £250.00.
This is far less than the normal hire rate for a 7-seater car in Cyprus.
Driving : Drink driving and speeding are not tolerated in Cyprus, anywhere........ you are likely to get a fine for speeding and face a short spell behind bars if you get caught drunk driving. The reason why Cyprus has the lowest crime rate in Europe is because the police and legal system are tough on any offender. Please be warned.
Petrol: The nearest petrol station is the EKO which can be found by following the main road into Ayia Napa. As you come into Ayia Napa you will come to the Adams Beach Hotel. About 100 yards past the hotel turn left onto the main road to Larnaca and follow it for approximately one and a half miles where you will find the petrol station on the right hand side. During evening hours the petrol station goes to self service which is easy to do however please read the instructions on the pay machine first.
